What It Costs to Hire a Drywaller in Kingston
Drywall work is priced by the job, not by the hour. Installations are measured per square foot or per sheet, and repairs are priced by size and type.
The biggest factors are ceiling height, access, the number of butt joints and corners, whether texture has to be matched, and the finish level. A Level 5 finish costs more than Level 4 because every surface gets an extra skim coat.
Be wary of quotes that do not state the finish level or the number of coats. The cheapest number often skips a step you will see once the paint goes on. Ask us for a written quote and we will explain every line.
